I’ve always been drawn to words. From as far back as I can remember, I devoured everything I could get my hands on–from Harry Potter to the backs of cereal boxes. Roald Dahl’s Matilda felt like a sister. I can still remember reading books way past my bedtime, thinking, “I want to write stories when I grow up.”

Then Fear with a capital F got in the way, and I moved on to more “practical” concerns. Now, I’m determined to kill the Fear do what I love. And, hopefully, make money doing it.

I like my stories smart, dark, and a little larger-than-life. This blog will track my journey in trying to create more of the kinds of stories I love. I hope you enjoy, and join me on the journey.
